The Orchards at Three Rivers is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at The Orchards at Three Rivers, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our patients and residents. Our center is committed to delivering exceptional care and creating a supportive environment for our patients to recover and thrive.
Aboutthe Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:
- Evaluating and diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders in patients and residents
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Conducting individual and group therapy sessions to promote patient progress
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess patients' cognitive and communicative abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
- Conduct therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills, using evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech language pathology
