Key Responsibilities:

• Safely guide guests on scenic horseback rides, creating memorable moments in the stunning Mackinac Island setting.
• Assist with the daily care of horses, ensuring their well-being, grooming, feeding, and health checks.
• Provide friendly and informative narration during rides, sharing the island's history and natural beauty.
• Maintain clean and organized stables and equipment, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with the equestrian team to coordinate rides and activities, ensuring seamless operations.
• Uphold Grand Hotel's commitment to exceptional guest service, exceeding expectations at every opportunity.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with horses, including handling, riding, and care.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain guests.
• Physical fitness and stamina to work outdoors and lift heavy objects.
• Reliable and team-oriented attitude, ready to contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
