Convention Services Set

Overview

The Convention Services Setup team is responsible for the setting up and tearing down of tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment for meetings, banquets or resort activities. Basic audio visual skills are helpful.

• Setting up of meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linen, etc.)
• Ensuring cleanliness and superior condition of all meeting and banquet rooms, including windows, baseboards, etc.
• Ensuring cleanliness of loading dock, and surrounding Civic Center area, including Village Lane, and stairway area to tunnel
• Reporting and following up on all maintenance issues in meeting rooms and surrounding areas, such as light-bulbs and ceiling tiles, etc.
• Addressing all maintenance issues to ensure they are repaired
• Setting up movie nights and other events as assigned

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have achieved a high school diploma or completed a GED
• You possess a valid driver’s license; CDL license would be helpful, but not required
• You have previous experience successfully working with a team, strong communication skills and excellent attention for details
• You are able to frequently stand; walk; lift and or move 25 pounds; frequently lift and or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
• You are interested in being a part of a team focused on success
