About the Role:

TVS Ford Yacht Club in Grosse Ile, MI is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Host to be the welcoming face of our waterfront club. • Greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor
• Manage reservations, seating charts, and waitlists to ensure smooth dining room flow
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain accurate wait times and table availability
• Escort guests to their tables and communicate any special requests or needs to service staff
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with event or dining reservations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable host stand and entrance area
• Assist in upholding club standards and ensuring an exceptional member experience

• Prior hosting, front-of-house, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy hospitality environment
• Professional appearance and a positive, outgoing attitude
• Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
