Banquet Setup Associate

Job Summary:

This position will help to execute events with the Banquet/Event Service Team. The position will facilitate the moving, set up and break down of event equipment to and from various locations on the property.

Job Duties:

Deliver, set-up and breakdown tables, chairs, speakers, stages, tents, etc. for use in both indoor and outdoor events

Work closely with the Logistics Manager to drop tables, chairs & linens at designated locations

Clean and organize event spaces post event, assuring the proper handling and storage of equipment

Work in conjunction or as part of the Banquet/Event Service Team and Culinary Team Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma (or current high school seniors) or equivalent in appropriate experience and/or certifications.

Prior Operations, Banquet or Event Experience preferred, but not necessary

Job

Competencies:

Availability on nights, weekends and holidays

Ability to lift a minimum of 80lbs.

Working Conditions:

Work will generally be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Temperatures can range from 32 F to 100+ F and there may be exposure to loud noises and sustained elements. Working schedule is generally 20-30 hours per week depending on event schedule, with most holidays, nights and weekends.
