Talent Manager, Employee Relations
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for completing day to day HR tasks typically related to benefit administration, administrative tasks, HR/Engagement events, and providing customer service to all HR customers. This position works full time;
Regularly working 40 hours per week.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; OR Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field with prior experience in Human Resources or working in an office environment; OR 4 years of experience working in a Human Resources Department or an office environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in human resources, benefits, or directly related area.
- Experience with People Admin or similar Applicant Tracking System.
- Experience with Elucian Banner or similar HRIS.
- Provide first line customer service, communication and support to all customers.
- Administer employee benefits by enrolling employees, reconciling statements, and processing changes/terminations.
- Assist employees with benefit issues; working closely with benefits consultant.
- Coordinate benefits events including annual wellness screenings, open enrollment, and on campus retirement/financial meetings.
- Assist with annual reporting, including 1095C and OSHA 300.
- Verify payroll information regarding deductions, leaves, and pay rates for active employees.
- Compile and complete data entry into the Banner system.
- Process tuition reimbursement and tuition remission requests.
- Review and approves all business card requests.
- Assist planning and supporting employee engagement events.
- Participate on special projects as assigned.
- Provide back-up to HR Coordinator and HR Director, as needed.
- Provide feedback and support to the HR department including process improvement and policy review.

3. The visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field vision.The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
