Overview
To be an employee of Live! Casino Virginia, you must be 21 years of age or older. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies and leading a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists in the execution of these practices to attract qualified and diverse groups of candidates for all positions at Live! Casino Virginia.
Responsibilities- Develop best practice, sustainable full‑cycle hiring plans and strategies to attract active and passive job seekers
- Effectively utilize HR systems and applicant tracking system (iCIMS)
- Use quantitative and qualitative metrics to support timely sourcing, hiring, and team effectiveness
- Engage with HR Business Partners and Operations Leaders to develop specific targeted plans for sourcing and recruitment
- Provide guidance on local and regional workforce trends and competitive environment
- Partner with HR Shared Services to promote and showcase the Live! brand
- Plan and execute employer brand ambassador programs and activities
- Improve candidate experience to drive effective onboarding and retention
- Build relationships with community partners, organizations, associations, and workforce development agencies to support ongoing sourcing and recruiting efforts
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
- Mentor and create career development plans for all Talent Acquisition staff members
- Experience in the hospitality services, retail, or high‑volume industry
- Knowledge of full‑cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
- Understanding of both quantitative and qualitative metrics to drive results
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, sourcing and recruitment marketing tools
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and in an interruptive environment
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- High learning agility and emotional intelligence
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources law
- Five to seven years of experience in talent acquisition
- Minimum of two years of experience managing people and processes in recruitment or staffing function
- Four‑year degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards
