The Michigan Civil Service Commission is seeking enthusiastic student assistants to support a special project focused on reviewing files in accordance with retention schedule and preparing for disposal for the Michigan Department of Corrections. Position
Description:
Human Resources Student Assistant
Education and Experience
Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary education institutions. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in the job specifications of the Human Resources Student Assistant class.
Additional Requirements and InformationStudent Assistant positions cannot exceed 129 working hours in a calendar month and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term, providing proof of enrollment at the start of each term. Student Assistant appointments end the month in which the student graduates or is no longer enrolled in school. A Student Assistant position cannot exceed six years unless otherwise approved by Human Resources.
This position is limited on max hours available and cannot exceed a total of 300 hours.
