Staffing - Payroll Coordinator II (Hemlock, MI Onsite)

Job Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Payroll Coordinator during a critical plant start-up phase. This role is vital in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations by managing employee time and attendance records using Kronos. The Payroll Coordinator supports end-to-end payroll processes, assures legal compliance, and maintains strict confidentiality, directly impacting employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately input, update, and maintain employee time and attendance data in Kronos.
  • Verify timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all payroll policies are followed.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to confirm employee data accuracy.
  • Communicate with employees and managers regarding payroll and timekeeping concerns, ensuring timely approvals.
  • Generate detailed reports on hours worked, overtime, and related metrics.
  • Support the full cycle of timekeeping operations and document payroll processes.
  • Handle confidential data with discretion and protect sensitive information.
  • Balance multiple priorities, ongoing tasks, and project work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive process standardization and support department efficiency initiatives.
