We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who supports day‑to‑day HR operations across multiple functional areas. In this role, you’ll help drive key HR processes, support employees and leaders, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, supporting employees, and partnering with leaders to improve performance and engagement, this is the role for you.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Conduct HR generalist activities including recruiting, selection, onboarding, orientation, training, employee relations, and payroll
- Assist with communication and enrollment of benefits, safety, and wellness programs in partnership with functional teams
- Oversee hourly performance management processes and guide managers in addressing performance gaps
- Utilize Workday or other HR systems to manage payroll, wage updates, status changes, attendance, and employee records
- Support FMLA, disability, and other leave of absence programs
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and company policies
- Promote open communication and maintain visibility to support employee questions and concerns
- Participate in professional development and stay current on employment laws (FMLA, OSHA, wage regulations, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions (recruiting, employee relations, payroll, etc.)
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Experience with leave administration (FMLA, disability)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
- Ability to build trust with employees and leadership
