Walker Healthforce is a specialized healthcare staffing, IT, and consulting firm connecting exceptional professionals with healthcare organizations nationwide. We are seeking a motivated Associate Recruiter who wants to build a career in consultative, technology-enabled recruiting.
(This is not a traditional corporate HR position.) It is a fast-paced, performance-oriented role focused on engaging candidates, evaluating fit, building relationships, and helping convert strong candidates into successful placements.
What You’ll Do- Use Bullhorn, AI-enabled recruiting tools, professional networks, job boards, and referrals to identify potential candidates.
- Review AI-recommended matches critically and confirm skills, experience, location, compensation, availability, and interest.
- Conduct structured candidate screens to understand qualifications, accomplishments, career goals, and potential concerns.
- Build trusted candidate relationships through responsive, personalized communication and consistent follow-through.
- Prepare clear candidate summaries and maintain accurate, timely records in Bullhorn.
- Coordinate interview preparation, candidate follow-up, and ongoing engagement throughout the hiring process.
- Work with recruiters and account managers while using performance metrics and coaching to improve quality, speed, and conversion.
- Zero to two years of professional experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication, active listening and relationship-building skills.
- Curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to look beyond keywords when evaluating people and information.
- Strong organization, urgency, attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
- Comfort with measurable goals, frequent outreach, changing priorities and occasional rejection.
- Ability to learn healthcare concepts, recruiting practices, and new technology quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Experience that translates well: internships, sales, customer service, hospitality, admissions, fundraising, athletics, campus leadership, or other achievement-oriented work.
