IT Manager | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $91,000 - $138,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity systems.
• Manage and support all manufacturing-specific software applications (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA).
• Develop and implement IT strategies to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering skill development and high performance.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware and software.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all IT-related issues across the organization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their implementation/management in a manufacturing context.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to align IT strategies with operational goals.
• Demonstrated experience in network administration, cybersecurity best practices, and infrastructure management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or other industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in an operational technology (OT) environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Certifications in IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) or project management (e.g., PMP).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
