Help Desk Technician | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Help Desk Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specialized manufacturing equipment software and connected devices.
  • Document, track, and monitor help desk requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
  • Assist manufacturing personnel with enterprise resource planning (ERP) system navigation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on factory floor workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience supporting hardware and software in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and common office productivity suites.
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial equipment or specialized software (e.g., PLCs, MES) is a plus.
