Help Desk​/Desktop Support Analyst

Location: Ada

Description We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide reliable technical support for end users in Ada, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and connectivity issues while delivering a strong customer support experience. The role focuses on maintaining stable desktop operations, addressing service requests efficiently, and supporting users across Microsoft-based environments.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to incoming support requests and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues in a timely manner.

- Troubleshoot problems related to Windows operating systems, user accounts, and common business applications.

- Manage and update Active Directory records, including user access, password resets, and account support tasks.

- Investigate network and VPN connectivity concerns and escalate more complex incidents when needed.

- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and standard workstation software for end users.

- Track, document, and close service desk tickets with clear notes and accurate status updates.

- Assist with routine server administration and support activities as directed by the technical team.

- Provide hands-on and remote support to ensure employees can work effectively with minimal disruption. Requirements - Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10 systems.

- Working knowledge of Active Directory administration for basic account and access management.

- Ability to perform foundational troubleshooting for hardware, software, and operating system issues.

- Experience handling service desk tickets in a structured support environment.

- Familiarity with VPN technologies and basic network troubleshooting practices.

- Understanding of desktop hardware components and common workstation support procedures.

- Exposure to server administration tasks and general infrastructure support.
