IT Systems Administrator

This position involves supporting and maintaining critical IT infrastructure across multiple locations, focusing on desktop, server, and network systems. Responsibilities include administering hardware, software, operating systems, and virtualization, ensuring reliable IT services and a collaborative environment.

You will join a distributed team of 10 core members across Michigan, Ohio, and Canada, with a broader team supporting other ZF locations in the US. Our goal is to deliver seamless IT operations globally.

• Proficiency with Dell & HP server hardware, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Juniper networking hardware, VLANs, Trunking, ACLs, and QoS.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022, VMware ESXi 8.0, and supporting desktop environments.
• Operational knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Windows Server, and Power Shell.
• Understanding of Converged Infrastructure and SAN technologies.
• Documentation skills for creating knowledge bases and supporting daily operations.
• Support for procurement, deployment, and operational activities within North America and globally.

• Associate’s Degree, technical certifications, or equivalent IT experience (Bachelor's preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in IT, including server hardware, Microsoft Server OS, VMware vSphere, and networking.
• Customer support experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose performance issues and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work flexible hours as needed.
