Service Engineer – National Technology Management (NTM)

On‑site, Bingham Farms, Michigan
Compensation: $55,000–$70,000 base + company‑wide bonus

• Diagnose and resolve mid‑to‑complex technical issues across managed IT and cybersecurity environments
• Take escalations from the front line, work them to completion, and document the fix so the next person doesn’t reinvent it
• Hit and protect our SLA standards: sub‑two‑hour resolution targets, high first‑contact fix rates, and client satisfaction numbers we live by
• Maintain your utilization — we measure work by results delivered, not hours looked busy
• Follow NTM’s documented processes and procedures. When you find a better way, you document it and we improve the process
• Add to the team. We’re a unit. Nobody’s above a task, and nobody drags the bench down

• 3+ years in a service/desktop/systems engineer role at an MSP or comparable IT environment
• Real working command of Windows environments, Microsoft 365/Azure AD, networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls), and endpoint/security tooling
• Experience owning escalations end‑to‑end — not just first‑contact triage
• Comfort working a documented ticketing system (Connect Wise experience is a plus, not a requirement)
• Clear written and verbal communication. You’ll talk to clients and represent the standard
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, security) are a plus — proven competence beats paper, but both is best

• Communicate proactively without being asked. You flag the problem before it becomes a fire
• Ask clarifying questions before starting work instead of guessing and redoing it
