IT Director, Non-SAP ERP, EDI and Integration Application Services
Responsible for the strategic and operational management of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Enterprise Integrations (EI), QAD, Plex and other non‑SAP ERP systems across the organization. Lead, mentor, and promote continuous learning and professional development for a global team of EDI, EI, and ERP professionals. Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members. Serve as the primary escalation point for non‑SAP ERP application‑related inquiries and issues.
Ensure expert‑level support and solutions for QAD and Plex ERP systems, staying updated with the latest developments and best practices. Oversee the integration of enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency within the automotive supply chain. Provide strategic direction and technical expertise for EI initiatives, managing and optimizing EDI processes to maintain accurate and efficient data exchange with global OEMs and automotive partners.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for EDI, troubleshoot and promptly resolve EDI‑related issues. Own and manage the EI and EDI functions across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business objectives, developing and maintaining robust solution architectures, conducting regular reviews and audits, and overseeing governance frameworks for managed services. Manage relationships with external vendors, assist with contract negotiation, monitor service level agreements, and implement governance processes to ensure integrity and security of ERP systems.
Provide strategic direction and application expertise for EDI/EI, ERP‑related projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design and implement ERP solutions that drive business value, analyzing opportunities for process improvement, leading change management initiatives, and overseeing EDI/EI, ERP license management and compliance. Conduct regular audits of ERP licenses, prepare and maintain IT General Controls, and collaborate with audit teams to address findings and implement corrective actions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a closely‑related degree field.
Minimum ExperienceTen (10) years of experience as Applications Engineer, Applications Developer, IT Supervisor, or IT Manager.
Special RequirementsThe required experience must involve global OEM EDI systems, EI and non‑SAP ERP application services. At least five (5) years of the required experience must have involved leading or managing global IT teams and overseen ERP transformation and IT program launches.
Additional InformationMay telecommute one day per week. Up to 10% travel required to visit plants across the Americas, Europe and APAC.
