Job Overview
This position is the recognized resource responsible for the development of radio programming files for distribution and installation. The position is responsible to identify existing and request new Radio IDs, Talk groups and Encryption for use in developing and building the templates.
Responsibilities- Identify radio programming needs through written request, user contract, related task, or initiated change/requirement.
- Contacts user to define and verify all requested changes.
- Develop prototype template for field-testing.
- Requests radio IDs and Talkgroup IDs for radio templates.
- Three years of experience as a Radio/Communications Technician.
- Two years of experience with P25 Radio Programming (Motorola & Kenwood).

Pay and Benefits- The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
