Systems Administrator, IT Support, Network Administrator

System Administrator
Under the direction of the Director of Information Technology, the System Administrator will work within general methods and procedures, exercising considerable independent judgment to select the proper course of action and will review the work of information technology technicians, to ensure conformance with established guidelines, methods, procedures, and policies related to the information technology department.
Provide information system user support; respond to questions and inquiries on various hardware and software issues. Install and/or plan and coordinate the installation, testing and support of computer hardware and software applications; coordinate the repair and replacement of computer components and related equipment. Perform and implement systems maintenance, making program modifications as necessary. Provide day-to-day operational support for Crystal Mountain's computer systems, network, hardware and software, telephone systems and related equipment.
Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair computers, computer components, software and peripheral devices; maintain, install and upgrade file servers and other network hardware. Perform system administration functions such as maintaining user accounts and passwords, installing, upgrading and maintaining software on servers, upgrading server hardware and troubleshooting and resolving network issues. Act as point of contact for IT projects to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Administer and maintain company internal and internet e-mail systems; install, configure and set up user accounts. Administer and maintain firewall applications for the internet; troubleshoot and resolve problems. Provide support in the operation of the company telephone and voicemail systems. Perform system backups and maintain backup library for company systems. Remain informed of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements.
Assist in the preparation of bid specifications and analysis of bid proposals for computer and network equipment and software. Assist in developing training or conduction training in computer systems and software as needed. Maintain a variety of records and prepare special reports. Serve as a leader and a mentor to the Help Desk team. Perform Security Audits to ensure that Crystal is in compliance with all regulations.

Competencies:
Knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and hardware in the technology field required. Must possess an understanding of installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, network and accessory equipment. Previous experience with relevant call tracking applications a plus. Advanced personal computer word processing, spreadsheet, database, and Windows skills required. Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.
Working knowledge of Security guidelines for the Industry. Previous customer service experience a plus. Must possess problem solving skills. Must possess an attention to detail. Clear and concise verbal communication skills. Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology. Able to analyze, interpret and present data in various formats. Maintains office, employee and company confidentiality at all times.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field; 4 to 6 years of experience in information technology, and industry specific certification(s). Associate's degree is accepted with experience and multiple Certifications. Physical & Other Requirements:
