Insurance Producer

Horace Mann seeks an Insurance Producer to serve K-12 educators with tailored auto, home, life, and supplemental insurance solutions. In this role, you'll prospect and build relationships with school employees, conduct needs-based assessments, present insurance options, and close sales while maintaining strong retention and service standards. You'll collaborate with school partners, participate in community and educator events, and uphold Horace Mann's mission-driven, integrity-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new insurance business within K-12 schools and educator communities
• Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend auto, home, life, and supplemental insurance products
• Present and explain insurance solutions, prepare quotes, and complete applications
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and referrals
• Provide ongoing customer service, policy reviews, and coverage adjustments
• Collaborate with school partners and attend educator and community events to generate leads
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies
• Meet or exceed sales, activity, and service performance targets
• Stay current on Horace Mann insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends
• Uphold Horace Mann's mission-driven, integrity-focused culture in all client interactions
