Job Summary: Insurish is seeking a Claims Representative to join our team in Northville, MI. The Claims Representative will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims for our policyholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate insurance claims to determine coverage and liability
- Collect and analyze claim information to determine claim value
- Negotiate settlements in a fair and timely manner
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, insurance agents, and other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim files
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process
- Keep up-to-date on insurance laws and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in insurance claims handling preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
