Job purpose: The Supply Chain Project Manager will report to the Director of Operations Readiness and Execution and will be responsible for ensuring that all supply chain work streams are delivered effectively for large capital projects. This includes raw milk planning, by‑product distribution, raw materials (pkg and ingredients), finished goods, and warehousing & transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Procurement, Transportation, Warehousing, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Quality, Operations, and Engineering functions to ensure that all upstream and downstream supply chain dependencies for large capital projects are established to support the commissioning, validation, and ramp‑up of new production lines.
- Act as the liaison between engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure that commissioning, validation, and ramp‑up plans are translated into material requirements.
- Support line commercialization initiatives (e.g., new packaging artwork, new technology, or material changes).
- Ensure supplier quality enables engineering and operational goals, compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements, and delivers the highest quality fairlife product.
- Build analytical and statistical models to drive strategy for large capital projects, including inventory, capacity, or throughput modeling.
- Ensure that ERP, MES, WMS, and SCADA systems enable efficient operations for new plants or production lines.
Skills / Qualifications required:
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related business degree.
- Exceptional project management capabilities.
- Expert in using MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, warehousing, planning, and supply chain strategy.
- Statistical and analytical modeling.
- Strong cost management and forecasting experience and knowledge.
- Strong cross‑functional and total supply chain knowledge.
Food safety requirements:
- Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that may affect product quality or food safety.
- Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color‑coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
- Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to food safety and the quality of the product, processes, quality systems, or safety system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to food safety and the quality of the ingredients, processes, quality systems, or safety system.
- Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of food safety and quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
