Supply Chain Analyst (Purchasing)
The Supply Chain Analyst (Purchasing) will effectively manage supply chain material shortages at a global level as well updating & distributing the global runouts. This position is the primary purchasing interface to all global plants and includes all aspects of purchasing activities related to assigned program(s).
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the global sites for their critical supply escalations.
- Escalate shortages within the supplier leadership team(s) to ensure that suppliers respond appropriately with respect to the delivery.
- Update & distribution of the global runout sheets through quantifying, manipulating the data to ensure that it aligns with the overall production & supplier requirements as needed.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours to support other regions with escalation of supply issues.
- Support escalation requests for on time sample builds & to meet the program launch requirements.
- Participates in other purchasing/operations meetings.
- Provide part shortage status updates.
- Supports analysis of new trends in market & technology.
- Maintains supplier relationships that are both productive and mutually beneficial
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in Purchasing/Operations or related field within a manufacturing facility.
- Relevant experience within automotive electronics preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office package
- Good team and people skills, including interpersonal skills that are required to lead, mentor, communicate, and build the technical capabilities of a cross-functional and cross-cultural organization.
- Able to work effectively in a high pressure, fast paced global environment.
- Able to represent technical topics internally and externally.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently.
- Self-starter who can work in a fast paced and multifaceted environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Holly, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
