This position is located onsite in Bridgman, MI. It is a long-term, full-time contract position. You will report to a client supervisor. Key responsibilities include procuring materials and equipment, issuing requests for quotations, analyzing bid proposals, negotiating with suppliers, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with suppliers and department partners, supporting strategic agreement processes, participating in supplier performance evaluations, supporting material standardization efforts, and resolving purchase order and delivery issues.
Qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, inventory management or similar discipline, and 2 years of experience in buying, contracting, supply chain logistics, inventory management, or business administration. Local candidate to job location.
