Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Wayland seeking Materials Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Lead and mentor the materials team.
• Optimize logistics and warehousing operations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for materials flow.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in materials management or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory control and planning
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to materials flow
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively
