Customs Compliance Specialist

Pipp Mobile Storage Systems Inc is seeking a Customs Compliance Specialist to manage global trade compliance for our IT and software solutions. In this role, you will classify products, validate ECCN and HTS codes, support export licensing, and ensure adherence to U.S. and international customs regulations. You will develop and maintain compliance procedures, conduct internal audits, train stakeholders, and partner with logistics, legal, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with U.
• S. and international customs and export regulations for software and related products
• Perform and maintain accurate HTS and ECCN classifications
• Prepare, review, and maintain import/export and licensing documentation
• Develop, update, and enforce customs and trade compliance procedures and controls
• Conduct periodic internal audits and risk assessments of trade activities
• Train internal teams on customs, export control, and documentation requirements
• Collaborate with logistics, legal, engineering, and finance on cross-border movements
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise stakeholders on impacts to operations
• Support resolution of customs holds, inquiries, and post-entry corrections
• Leverage ERP/TMS tools to track, analyze, and report trade compliance metrics
