Demand Analyst

Dow is seeking a Demand Analyst to support its manufacturing operations by delivering accurate demand forecasts and insights. In this role, you will analyze historical data, customer orders, and market trends to build statistical forecasts that guide production, supply chain, and inventory decisions. You will partner closely with sales, planning, and operations teams to support S&OP, improve forecast accuracy, and align demand with capacity.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with forecasting tools, and a passion for continuous improvement in a global, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data and market inputs
• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and production to align demand and supply plans
• Monitor forecast accuracy and perform root-cause analysis on variances
• Prepare demand reports and dashboards for leadership and operations teams
• Support S&OP processes with data-driven insights and recommendations
• Optimize inventory levels while maintaining service and fulfillment targets
• Use statistical and analytical tools for scenario planning and risk assessment
• Partner with finance on volume assumptions for budgeting and planning
