Company Overview

American Bath Group is building a centralized shared-logistics truck-cubing capability that supports multiple plants, brands, and business units. This role sits within a specialized three-person team expected to support seven locations/brands and approximately 15 mapping streams.

The position is onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. The exact onsite location was not finalized in the approved internal role specification and should be confirmed before external posting.

Truck cubing is currently distributed across multiple people. American Bath Group is consolidating this work into a focused team so truck plans can be created more consistently, capacity issues can be identified before loading, and other employees can return their attention to broader responsibilities.

The MAXXload Diagrammer turns order and load information into truck plans that can actually be executed at the dock. The work combines computer-based workflow, spatial reasoning, count reconciliation, practical loading judgment, and clear communication with logistics and plant stakeholders.

• Executable accuracy: create diagrams loaders can execute front-to-back without material non-fit at the dock.
• Trailer utilization: identify unused capacity early enough to surface add-on opportunities and identify overfull loads before loading begins.
• Productive throughput: build toward sustained daily mapping output while maintaining accuracy. The confirmed near-term ramp target is approximately 20-25 maps per day on learned work after the first 30 days; a mature individual target has not yet been established.
• Cross-brand coverage: progress from the first assigned brand/process into additional mapping streams and become a flexible contributor across the centralized team.
• Translate load and order information from CMS, SAP, and AS400 into physically executable MAXXload truck plans. Reconcile product counts and configurations, arrange loads to use trailer space effectively, recognize non-fit or excess capacity before dock execution, and communicate those findings upstream.
• The role owns the accuracy and physical feasibility of the truck plan. Shipment-delay decisions remain with the appropriate commercial and logistics stakeholders.

• Truck diagrams reflect actual counts, loading constraints, sequencing, and physical fit so loaders are not discovering preventable problems during execution.
• Underutilized and overfull loads are identified before shipment, giving upstream teams time to add product or adjust the load.
• The diagrammer develops enough fluency to handle continuous daily cubing volume without trading accuracy for speed.
• The individual learns additional brands, products, customer rules, and loading patterns so work can move across the centralized team rather than remain in a single-brand silo.

The work is repetitive in cadence but not simple in judgment. A typical day is centered on truck cubing across multiple data inputs, product types, customer rules, and shipment priorities. The diagrammer must stay accurate while handling mixed products, multi-stop sequencing, nesting, stacking, interlocking, Dixie cupping, skid loading, floor loading, and urgent requests.

• High daily volume creates pressure to move quickly without losing count or configuration discipline.
• A diagram must work physically, not just look correct on screen.
• Rules vary by product, customer, brand, and loading method, so learning and retention matter.
• The person must recognize exceptions and communicate capacity or non-fit issues before they become dock problems.

This is an execution-focused individual-contributor role. The strongest fit is someone who takes ownership of detailed work, learns operating rules quickly, and can sustain disciplined production throughout the day.
