Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families, and children throughout Michigan. We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our Fairview Skilled Nursing and Rehab Campus team. In this role, you will help ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Maintenance Manager

• Organize and prioritize daily workload and work orders to minimize disruption to resident care and campus operations.
• Complete maintenance and repair tasks to maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of the facility.
• Operate small electrical tools and equipment including lawn mowers, rototillers, edgers, and related tools.
• Perform interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Maintain water, heating, and sewage systems according to facility needs and regulations.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs as established by the supervisor.
• Perform duties in accordance with established methods, recognized standards, and all federal and state regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and participate in disaster drills and emergency responses.
• Assist other staff during emergency situations as needed to ensure continuity of services.
• Help maintain the security of campus grounds and buildings.
• Use computer systems to manage and complete work orders and maintenance documentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical, electrical, or general maintenance experience required; minimum of two (2) years of prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers with willingness to learn work order and maintenance software.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and respond effectively in emergency situations.

• Schedule:
  
  Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shift: Day Shift, 8-hour shifts
• On-Call:
  Participation in a rotating on-call schedule required
• Pay Rate:
  Starting at $18.00 per hour, based on experience
