Buggy Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team at a luxurious resort in Villa Haven, Maldives, as a Buggy Mechanic! We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient professional to maintain and repair our fleet of golf carts and buggies, ensuring smooth transportation for our guests across our picturesque property.

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on buggies and other vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
• Execute timely repairs and replacements of faulty components
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
• Manage and organize spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize disruptions to guest services
• Respond promptly to breakdown calls and provide on-the-spot repairs when possible
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in buggy or golf cart maintenance
• Proven skills in mechanical repair and maintenance of buggies and other vehicles
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for both mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Familiarity with various buggy models and brands
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive or small engine repair preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in a resort or hospitality setting is a plus
• Understanding of resort operations and guest services
• Ability to work efficiently in a tropical climate
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
