Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: The facilities maintenance worker will perform a variety of routine and semiskilled tasks involving general maintenance of Morbark facilities, equipment and grounds.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Make routine repairs to facilities
• Make routine repairs to equipment
• Make electrical related repairs
• Perform routine carpentry work
• Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Make repairs to grounds
• Other specific maintenance duties as assigned
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work safely at a fast pace
• Have the ability to train and complete a variety of daily tasks

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to 3 years of construction or facility maintenance experience
• Must have a valid driver's license

• Must be able to follow written policies and procedures
• Must be able to work well with others

Physical Requirements:

• Unimpaired speech, hearing, and sight (continuous)
• Strength and Stamina
• Ability to routinely lift 75lbs to chest level
• Postural changes such as sitting, reaching, climbing, standing, walking and lifting (intermittent)
