Facilities Custodian

Performs a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in the custodial care and maintenance of all City buildings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older and graduation form a high school or GED equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of custodial equipment, materials, supplies, and their proper and safe usage.
• Working knowledge of minor repair techniques and occupational safety practices.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining custodial machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow instructions, policies, and procedures accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising sound judgment.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and adapt to changing environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• CDL certification

Salary: $16.53 to 18.19 per hour depending on qualifications.  to review our summary of benefits.
