Shipping & Receiving Team Lead (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a driven, organized individual for the full-time Shipping & Receiving Team Lead position in our Shipping & Receiving Department at our Durand, MI facility. As a Shipping & Receiving Department member, you will directly impact daily warehouse efficiency, shipping accuracy, and team accountability. Your primary responsibilities will include leading and supporting team members on the floor, managing daily and weekly coverage schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring late shipments, performing quality control checks, and ensuring SOP compliance.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced warehouse environment and is passionate about improving processes, supporting team members, and ensuring customers receive accurate, on‑time shipments.

    Warehouse Manager
  • Starting Wage: $18.00/hour or +$1.00 to current rate (if internal candidate)

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and support team members on the shipping and receiving floor
  • Manage daily and weekly coverage schedules and assign tasks
  • Assist with picking, packing, labeling, loading trucks, receiving, and inventory as needed
  • Monitor late shipments daily and resolve issues before the end of shift

    Ensure SOPs are followed and continuously improve processes
  • Perform and administer regular quality control checks
  • Order boxes and supplies while maintaining inventory levels
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth fulfillment operations
  • Coach team members and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and warehouse areas

For This Position, You MUST Possess:
  • Strong communication skills and ability to give and receive constructive feedback

  • Comfort using computers, web-based applications, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
  • Must pass the Nuts & Bolts Assessment
Special Consideration Is Given To:
  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment

  • Requires standing for extended periods and regular lifting
