EHS Manager - Hart Area

Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems and programs.
• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure effective controls.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to all employees to foster a strong safety culture.
• Manage hazardous waste, chemical inventory, and environmental permits in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare regulatory reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5-7+ years of progressive EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and state-specific EHS regulations and their practical application.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH) or commitment to obtain.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in EHS training and incident investigation.

• Experience implementing Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies in EHS.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Gensuite, SAP EHS).
• Demonstrated experience managing EHS across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Background working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Advanced certification such as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
