Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire operation and management of the Club, ensuring positive member experience, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure excellence in Member Services by creating a welcoming environment.
  • Interview, hire, and train new staff.
  • Ensure proper staffing and coverage based on business needs.
  • Conduct all evaluations and performance reviews for all staff in the club.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly club.
  • Ensure club profitability and financial success.
  • Ensure the safety and protection of employees and members in the club and the entire club property.
  • Handle timecard administration and properly follow all Planet Fitness policies and guidelines as they pertain to employee pay.
  • Train staff on and execute local and national promotions.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing customer-focused teams in the fitness, hospitality, restaurant or similar industry.
  • A career path that reflects increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable results.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Continual standing and walking during your shift.
  • Continual talking to members and potential members in person and on the phone during your shift.
  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds.
