At Lens Crafters, we are passionate about the health and wellbeing of our customers and patients. We’ve expanded that passion to Surgical Clinics where we can provide even more comprehensive care and services in the neighborhoods we serve.
The Clinic Manager is the leader within the Surgical Clinic overseeing and managing all the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring adequate scheduling and staffing, coordinating proper training for the staff, and partnering with the Retail and Optometric leaders within the same location. Additionally, this role will support the Regional Clinic Manager in cultivating surgeries and surgical referrals.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operations of the clinic from staffing to training to logistics
- Support the cultivation of surgical appointments and referrals
- Coach and lead the Clinic Staff to an exemplary level of care and service
- Set the example with flawless execution and dedication to the clinic
- Partner closely with the Retail and Optometric leaders within the location to leverage staff across the businesses
- Support the partner surgeon in coordination and preparation for surgery days
- Drive the ultimate level of accountability across your peers and staff
- Own the operations of the clinic from ordering supplies, coordinating vendors, ensuring proper preparation, scheduling of staff, patients, and surgeon
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for employees and patients
- 4+ years of management experience
- Relevant experience in a medical, surgical, or optical environment
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Proven track record of driving accountability
- Highly detail focuses
- Strong basic math skills
- Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication
- Committed team player
- Dedication to detail and process
- Proven ability to problem solve
- Relevant medical or surgical certifications/degrees
- Strong knowledge of basic optics
- State licensure (if applicable) & or ABO Certification in non‑licensed states
- Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies
