Program Manager, International Disaster Response

The Program Manager provides leadership, coordination, and oversight for a multi-country humanitarian and disaster risk reduction consortium project implemented through World Renew country offices and local partners. The position is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, learning, and adaptive management of projects operating across multiple countries and contexts.

Working closely with country offices, local partners, consortium members, donors, and other stakeholders, the Program Manager ensures that programs are implemented effectively, resources are used efficiently, donor requirements are met, and interventions contribute to improved outcomes for communities affected by disasters, conflict, displacement, climate-related shocks, and other humanitarian crises.

The portfolio is expected to initially support programming in Nigeria, Malawi, Lebanon, Syria, and Cambodia; however, the final country portfolio and scope of programming are subject to donor approval, consortium decisions, and emerging humanitarian priorities. As such, the position requires flexibility to support program implementation and potential expansion into additional humanitarian or disaster contexts as funding opportunities and organizational priorities evolve.

The position serves as the primary program focal point for assigned projects and supports capacity strengthening efforts with partners and country teams while promoting quality programming, accountability to affected populations, humanitarian standards, organizational learning, and continuous improvement.

We do not discriminate based on disability, culture, ethnicity, or gender, and welcome and encourage people from diverse backgrounds to apply.
