About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of a leading manufacturing and building systems company for an Electrician – Industrial Maintenance. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining, repairing, and improving electrical and mechanical systems across a dynamic production environment. The position emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, control panels, and industrial machinery.
  • Assemble, install, and dismantle production equipment, including pumps, conveyors, and motors.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and reliability checks to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in safety programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and plant housekeeping.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to identify root causes and implement long‑term solutions.
  • Ensure all electrical installations meet National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and company safety policies.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, industrial automation, and mechanical repair.
  • Hands‑on experience with tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required.
