Shipping and Receiving Clerk

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk located in Lake Orion, MI. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. Daily tasks include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, packing and preparing items for shipment, operating equipment like pallet jacks, organizing and maintaining inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation for shipping and receiving activities.

The role requires effective communication with team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Experience in Shipping & Receiving and Packing processes
• Proficiency in operating tools and equipment such as pallet jacks
• Strong skills in Inventory Control and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Effective Communication skills for collaboration with team members and reporting
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is a plus
• Ability to work in physical, on-site roles requiring movement and the handling of materials
