Compensation and ScheduleFull time, up to $21 per hour.
Shift: 2 pm – 10 pm.
Overtime opportunities.
2 Saturdays a month.
No Sundays.
Shift premium.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities
- Inspect castings for the following as required on work instructions
- External defects / scrap chute
- Excessive core fin or flash
- Bum‑in sand removal
- High ingate removal
- Operate all grinders safely by inspecting grinder for proper adjustment, cracks or chips in the wheel and overall working condition. Report any problems to supervisor.
- After inspection, remove excess metal from castings following directions from work instructions.
- Place finished parts in designated shipping containers (W‑9029) for shipment as specified by work instructions.
- Place appropriate "OK to Ship" tag on the container and write clock number, part number and date on the tag (W‑9029).
- Accept other jobs in the finishing department as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- High school diploma or GED.
