Production Operator

Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Competency in reading and basic math skills

Motor coordination, manual and finger dexterity

Ability to perform repetitive tasks

Basic computer skills

To pack a specified number of quality plastic parts into an appropriately sized and labeled container.

• Visually inspect and compare production parts with sample parts to assure defect-free products within established production standards.
• Label cartons and scan as required.
• Package a specified number of defect-free parts in an appropriately sized and labeled container and place it in appropriate location in accordance with packaging specifications to prevent damage when shipping.
• Ensure proper paperwork is completed.
• Complete required tracking and documentation of production parts for traceability purposes.
• Perform secondary production operations, repairing and reworking of parts and fill out related documents.
• Operate a pass-through fixture.
• Grind scrap material and separate recyclables.
• Record defective parts in the computer system.
• Be familiar with job instructions to fulfill customer requirements. Complete all related paperwork and charting requirements and turn it in at the end of the shift.
• Follow all IATF-16949/ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
• Follow lockout procedures.
• Follow all safety rules and housekeeping guidelines.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
