Responsibilities & Requirements

Candidates will have the ability to work in a setting that requires harvesting animals and/or preparing the product to be ready for shipment to customers. Work may involve the use of hand tools, such as knives and hooks, and could involve using powered industrial hand tools such as saws, skinners or other powered knives. Candidates must be able to lift, push, and pull product repetitively in a hot and/or cold assembly line environment.

• Unloading and segregating live animals in a humane manner and preparing them for entry onto the Harvest Floor.
• Hide removal using knives and other powered equipment.
• Trimming carcasses free of contaminants and harvesting offal products.
• Breaking down carcasses, saving primal cuts, trimming, bagging and boxing product to customer specifications.
