Sample Lab Technician

As a Sample Lab Technician, you will play an important role in preparing flavor samples, supporting quality initiatives, and helping ensure products meet high standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly impact customer satisfaction and product performance.

This position is based onsite in a laboratory environment where you will work with raw materials, finished flavors, and specialized equipment. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting materials up to approximately fifty pounds, and wearing required protective equipment, which may include a respirator.

What you will do:

• Prepare a wide range of flavor samples including emulsions, extracts, and liquid mixtures using provided formulations in support of customer requests and quality initiatives
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory testing while supporting shelf life programs by organizing, storing, and monitoring samples under proper conditions
• Maintain laboratory equipment and manage inventory of raw materials and finished products to ensure accuracy and availability
• Coordinate raw material requests and replenishment to support research and development and laboratory operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and records while completing assigned tasks efficiently and adapting to changing business priorities

What you will bring:

• An associate degree in a scientific or related field; a bachelor degree is preferred
• Experience working in a laboratory or production environment is helpful
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise formulations and instructions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple priorities
• Comfort working in a hands on environment that requires standing, lifting, and use of protective equipment
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace
