We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Lead Technician to help keep our equipment and systems running smoothly and to lead a small but effective maintenance crew.
Day Shift: 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in a 4‑day on/4‑day off rotation schedule (4‑day vacation every rotation!)
Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500.00

The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for supervising and implementing all maintenance activities to optimize production and carry out safe and efficient planned maintenance routines. The Team Leader provides training and problem‑solving with strong people skills in a servant‑leader manner.
Primary Responsibilities &Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and perform routine and emergency maintenance (major and minor) of manufacturing and facilities machinery and equipment.
- Install, assemble, and test industrial machinery during plant modification and/or expansion.
- Inspect work for completeness and ensure tools and equipment are accounted for.
- Directly train maintenance technicians in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair.
- Review PM procedures and regularly monitor maintenance personnel routines.
- Assist with developing new PMs for equipment and maintain or update the current program as directed by management.
- Assist management in maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment; notify manager if parts are needed.
- Seek opportunities and suggest changes in equipment use to improve production, quality, and efficiency.
- Ensure maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to accomplish the maintenance program safely, timely, and cost‑effectively.
- Direct, maintain, and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department; review safety records to uphold maximum safety standards for all technicians.
- Support change management and empower and engage employees.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive reliability improvement program to ensure all equipment is maintained safely and reliably.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools for work performed.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and safety procedures.
- Maintain and enforce standards of good manufacturing practices, Lock Out/Tag Out, and good housekeeping.
- Attend monthly maintenance meetings and other relevant meetings to stay informed and disseminate information on plant‑related issues.
- Motivate employees to achieve company goals.
- Delegate work orders and instructions to maintenance staff.
- Provide guidance and direction to the team, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Perform crew leader and maintenance technician evaluations according to the schedule.
- Ensure safe work practices.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Associate’s degree or certification in a technical field preferred.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
- Sound skill with standard mechanical and electrical component maintenance, repair practices, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Regularly lift and/or move a minimum weight of 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in high, precarious places up to elevations of 50 feet.
- Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small parts.
