Seneca Foods Corporation’s Hart, MI facility is currently seeking a Sanitation Employee to join our team. The Hart facility focuses on primarily producing quality products, which include Maraschino Cherries, Glace Fruit, and Ingredient Cherries.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Use proper Lock-out / Tag-out procedures
• Maintain and operate forklift safely at all times
• Complete daily forklift inspection
• Properly use steam / hot water system
• Properly use product and material-handling pumps
• Read and understand the English language
• Tote and barrel dumping
• Dipping cherries from totes
• Pumping processing and brine tanks
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Internal GMP/HACCP/BRC Training
• Trained and knowledgeable in the use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Must pass respiratory fitness test

Wage is $21.83 per hour.
