Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator to join their team. As a Robotic Weld Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Robotic Weld Operator
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $15.50 to $16.50 an hour depending on shift
Shift:
1st shift: 8 am to 4 pm
3rd shift: 12 am to 8 am
overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time - can be heavy and include Saturday
What's the Job?
- Set up, maintain, and operate robotic welding equipment according to specifications
- Position, secure, and fabricate parts of manufactured products following order documents
- Inspect and measure work pieces to ensure conformance to quality standards
- Adjust machine controls to regulate welding parameters such as wire feed speed, amperage, and gas type
- Perform quality inspections and remove excess welds, slag, or spatter to ensure finished product quality
What's Needed?
- Experience in welding and machine operation
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- at least 1 year in Welding or Robotic welding
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret job specifications
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical ability to lift work pieces manually or with equipment
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
