Manufacturing Production, Machine Operator
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machinist
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $21
Shift: 8 am to 4 pm
overtime is schedule prior to shift start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays
What's the Job?
- Operate and perform set-ups on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and presses
- Manage multi-axis CNC machining processes across various platforms
- Utilize Inventor CAM software to create 2.5 – 5-axis mill and mill-turn toolpath strategies
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality
- Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using tape measures
- Experience with Inventor CAM software
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
