Shift: 2:00 PM-12:00 AMHourly Rate: $24.30 an hour + $.20 shift differential
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will support production operations by preparing equipment, assembling and inspecting products, monitoring packaging processes, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards across assigned areas. You will follow documented work instructions, complete required paperwork, identify and report deviations, and help maintain an organized work environment while supporting continuous workflow throughout the department.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities- Comply with all company safety policies, GMP, OSHA requirements, and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Obtain work schedule and production documentation and prepare work area for operations.
- Inspect and assemble cleaned production equipment and complete line setup based on product requirements.
- Visually inspect, sort, and arrange franks on conveyors, removing non‑conforming product.
- Report product or equipment deviations to supervisory and QA personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with 5S expectations.
- Provide coverage for other positions within the department as needed.
Pack Area
- Count and place franks into conveyor slots according to work order specifications.
- Monitor vacuum packaging, remove non‑conforming packages, and manage rework tubs.
- Support Operators and Assemblers as needed.
Boxing Area
- Hand‑pack boxes with finished product and prepare special orders as directed.
- Assemble boxes, apply labels, change tape rolls, and manage case blanks.
- Stack sealed cases on pallets following pattern requirements and manually wrap pallets.
- Transport full pallets using a power jack.
- Maintain work area cleanliness and support rework processes.
Slicing Area
Review production schedule and verify necessary packaging supplies.
Retrieve supplies using a pallet jack and stage them at the packaging line.
Obtain meat products from racks, cut tails when needed, and load product onto slicer.
Weigh sliced product, load pockets on vacuum pack lines, and conduct quality checks.
Monitor equipment, clear jams, verify labels, and perform required checks.
Maintain organization and cleanliness and support rework processes.

0549.6.4.3.001 – Contamination ControlBreak down and clean machine parts at end of shift or as needed.
Secure equipment, complete housekeeping duties, and finish required documentation.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Attend work as scheduled, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Read and write in English.
- Perform basic math.
- Meet all physical requirements outlined in the Job Functional Analysis.
