Programmable Operator

Our client in Clare MI, is seeking a Programmable Operator to join their team. As a Programmable Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Programmable Operator

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $18.50 to $19.50 an hour depending on shift

Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift
overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays

What's the Job?

• Inspect incoming material for quality specifications and quantities.
• Operate and program robotic welders and CNC machines to fabricate products.
• Set up machines, adjust process variables, and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintain inventory control by labeling and verifying raw materials.
• Record work order details, labor, and downtime accurately in the system.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with machinery, CNC programming, or related fields.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, AutoCAD, welding, and thermal cutting machinery preferred.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and use measuring devices like calipers and micrometers.
• Must obtain a Crane License and forklift license.
