Salary: $38 - $42 per hour

Position Overview
The Journeyman Millwright will perform skilled mechanical and electromechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and systems in a fast-paced, high-volume metals production environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production
- Install, align, and maintain mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and material-handling equipment
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities, documentation, and machine inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow established safety/quality procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to support continuous improvement and equipment optimization
- Participate in training programs focused on problem-solving, quality processes, and equipment upgrades
- Licensed Journeyman Millwright (state-recognized certification required)
- 3+ years of experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, metals, or similar environments
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to diagnose 3-phase motors, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems
- Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance programs
- Ability to work multiple shifts as needed (shift preference considered)
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
